The last weekend of January and the first weekend of February is always an exciting time for me here in Gainesville! Those are the weekends that the Hoggtowne Medieval Faire comes to visit! I've been going since 2006 because I love taking pictures at the event! There's so much to see and do!

One of my favorite shows from the fair is Barely Balanced. I make sure to see them every year! They are hilarious acrobatic jugglers who refer to themselves as Small, Medium and Large.
Did I mention they sometimes use fire?
Another favorite of mine is the Falcon Tent. They usually have Falcons, Hawks, Owls, etc. The birds are just so majestic and I love taking their picture!
There are always people dressed up in costumes which makes the event even funner!
They also have the equestion games and jousting.
