Hey It's Ok Tuesday!

I'm linking up with Amber at Airing my Dirty Laundry, One Sock at a Time
I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either.

Hey it's ok....

-To post two blog entries in one day :c)

-To post pictures of fruit [see previous entry]

-To love books and want everyone to vote for their favorite [if listed] at:
Choice_logo_90x107Vote now for your favorite books!

-To be glad November is almost over so that NoJoMo and the 30 Days of Thankfulness [on Facebook] is over.  I'm glad I've made it through each and such but there were some days I didn't feel like it. lol.  Normally I give up after a week or so, so this was nice :c)

-To change the look of your blog.  I liked the black and what I did, but browsing through more and more blogs the ones I like visiting are lighter and just feel more fun, because the black was starting to feel a little depressing. lol.  So please bear with me as I find myself in this blogging world; though I did change my OD often also.  Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome :c)

-To be excited, but nervous about the new thing Kim and I are going to be doing in addition to N3RDc@st.  Details coming very soon :c)

-To notice that you :c) an awfully lot.  and lol.  Sorry! heh ..[I was about to type another :c) there but stopped myself lol]

-To listen to songs from back in the day.  Someone posted on Facebook that they were jamming to Spice Girls so I've been taking a trip back to memory lane with S Club 7, All Saints, Bewitched, Aqua, etc. I kept clicking "You may also like" on iTunes finding more groups I used to like.

-To then feel old when you think that if a baby was born when you used to listen to those songs they are now a teenager.  A TEENager!  Oy vey!

-To not know why I went Yiddish there, but it conveys the message.  I think it's from the Hallmark movie we watched this weekend.  Loved the movies, but one of my favorite scenes was when the Rabbi was in the hospital.  [Let me back up- It was based on a true story from Mitch Albom (Tuesdays with Morrie).  his Rabbi asked him to do his Eulogy for him; even though he was not dieing yet.  So Mitch would visit often so that he would know what to talk about when the time came.  He ends up being inspired to help others and finds a church running a homeless shelter with a roof in the ceiling and comes to know the Pastor)  Anyways, the Rabbi ended up in the hospital and Mitch was there visiting.  The nurse came in and asked if he was family because it was only family visiting time.  The Rabbi then said don't you know he's my (random Yiddish sounding words)   And the nurse was like "Umm,ok"  When the nurse left Mitch asked what that was and the Rabbi said "Who knows?"  It was cute.
